Pugs snore during night and also take naps if you don't like the sound then don't get a pug. Just because they are short haired dogs don't think they have tons of fur. Pugs are people oriented dogs they love to be around you. Don not get a pug if you are home a lot! Though a pug may bark to alert that someone is at the door. I told you a couple things about pugs.
